Vulnerability Alert for Git Users

GitHub | One of the most popular ways to host open-source projects is through GitHub. The hub reports having over 73 million developers and more than 200 million repositories (including at least 28 million public repositories), making it the largest source code host. 

The software aids in the development of high-quality product and tracking revisions in code. Recently, a new CVE-2022-24765 was announced for a critical
security flaw in the Git tool. This flaw could allow a malicious user to gain access to sensitive information or even take control of a system.
