QRC Advances to CREST Pathway+

QRC Assurance and Solutions has attained CREST Pathway status, reflecting the company’s progress toward formal CREST Accreditation and Membership.  An organization that provides cybersecurity services can use CREST’s Accreditation Pathway as a framework for improving its processes while also meeting global standards for cybersecurity services. The pathway consists of three stages Pathway, Pathway and, finally, CREST Accredited Membership (following an independent assessment).

By entering the Pathway stage, QRC has progressed past the initial point in the accreditation process and has successfully performed a self-assessment in relation to the CREST organisational standards and at least one CREST cybersecurity discipline standard. Reaching this stage demonstrates that the organisation has taken tangible steps to enhance its maturity against the standards and is now prepared to undergo formal assessment for CRESTAccredited Membership.  Furthermore, as stated by CREST, organizations that have achieved Pathway have shown commitment to elevating professional standards and have taken significant steps towards accreditation. In addition, QRC has been added to the official list of CREST Pathway organisations.

Enhancing Governance, Methodologies and Information-Security Practices

This step in the accreditation process serves as a reminder that QRC is dedicated to reinforcing the standards of governance, methods, information-security practices and general quality control measures that support the cybersecurity testing and assurance services provided by the company. By participating in the CREST Accreditation Pathway, QRC demonstrates its commitment to offering dependable, consistent and high-standard cybersecurity services to organisations that operate in regulated and digital-centric fields.

The Next Step: Formal CREST Accreditation

QRC will now continue strengthening its processes, supporting evidence and cybersecurity service capabilities in preparation for the formal CREST Accreditation process. This subsequent stage requires organisations to submit a detailed application and supporting evidence for independent assessment by CREST. Achieving Pathway status formally recognises QRC’s progress within the CREST Accreditation Pathway and its commitment to working towards the standards required for accreditation.

QRC remains focused on completing this journey and further enhancing the trust, quality and assurance associated with its cybersecurity services. To learn more about QRC’s cybersecurity testing and assurance capabilities, connect with the team to discuss your organisation’s security requirements.
